Miniature "Samye" Vajra
Antique 9-prong Nyingma style vajra. Hand-made of copper with an iron axis,
having two movable rings, one in each terminus. As such, sometimes
referred to as "Samye" vajras, originating from Samye Monastery, associated
with King Trisong Detsun, Shantarakshita and Guru Rinpoche. Samye was
the first Buddhist monastery in Tibet. 3.25 inches (8.2cm) long.
